Policies
Rural Ireland & Infrastructure
Strong communities require real investment, modern infrastructure, and a functioning local economy. Farming, local enterprise, and rural life must be actively protected and rebuilt — not allowed to decline.
We will drive targeted development across rural Ireland to create jobs, support local business, and restore communities as places where people can live, work, and raise families.
We will:
- Support farming livelihoods and protect core rural industries
- Invest in roads, broadband, and transport to reconnect communities
- Deliver housing and infrastructure that build circular local economies through construction, SME support, and community investment
- Provide targeted grants for small and medium-sized rural businesses
- Develop community amenities that support long-term population growth
- Ensure rural Ireland can live, work, and thrive — not be forced to decline
Education, Standards & Parental Authority
Ireland’s education system must return to basics. Every child deserves strong foundations in reading, writing, and mathematics, delivered in classrooms built on discipline, respect, and high expectations. Parents must have a real say in their children’s education, and schools must reflect the values of families and local communities.
We will:
- Restore a clear focus on core subjects — reading, writing, and maths
- Support teachers in maintaining discipline and classroom order
- Provide full transparency to parents on school curricula
- Ensure teaching is age-appropriate, balanced, and free from inappropriate influence
- Reinforce the role of parents as the primary educators of their children
- Protect the right of schools to maintain a clear religious ethos, including Catholic ethos, where supported by parents and local communities
Energy Security & Pragmatic Climate
Ireland needs energy that is reliable, affordable, and secure. Environmental goals must be balanced with economic reality and the needs of households.
We will:
- Abolish excessive energy costs and taxes on households and businesses
- Explore modern nuclear energy
- Strengthen Ireland’s energy independence
- Prioritise long-term energy security and stability
Housing & Cost of Living
Ireland is facing an unprecedented housing crisis that is putting enormous pressure on individuals, families, and communities. Too many people are locked out of home ownership or forced into insecure living conditions.
Reclaim Ireland will take a practical, results-driven approach to increase supply, reduce costs, and prioritise housing for those who live and work in Ireland.
We will:
- Increase housing supply by speeding up planning and driving large-scale house-building
- Support first-time buyers and working families in accessing home ownership
- Use state land to unlock new housing development
- Ban bulk purchasing of new homes by foreign investment funds and institutional investors
- Prioritise social housing for Irish people
- Reduce the main drivers of housing pressure, immigration, asylum, and family reunification.
Immigration, Asylum & Citizenship
Ireland needs an immigration system that is tightly controlled. Current policy is placing increasing pressure on housing, public services, and community cohesion. Reclaim Ireland will ensure that immigration is managed in the national interest, with clear limits based on capacity and the needs of the country.
We will:
- Introduce firm controls to ensure immigration levels reflect housing, infrastructure, and service capacity, always putting the interests of the Irish people first
- Introduce a controlled processing system for asylum seekers, including designated accommodation centres, to allow proper vetting, faster decisions, and reduce incentives for misuse of the system
- Reform citizenship rules to ensure a clear, earned connection to Ireland through residency, contribution, and commitment to the state
- Introduce strong enforcement action to detain and remove failed and fraudulent asylum seekers and those given the right to stay under dubious lax systems.
- Ensure all immigration policy is transparent, accountable, and aligned with the will of the Irish people
Law, Order & Community Protection
Safe communities are the foundation of a stable society. Too many people no longer feel secure in their own neighbourhoods, and confidence in the system has been eroded. Reclaim Ireland will restore law and order and rebuild confidence that the system is working for the people — not against them.
We will:
- Increase Garda visibility and support frontline policing
- Crack down on anti-social behaviour and violent crime
- Ensure faster, more effective justice and real consequences for real
- Ensure the Garda code of ethics and the rights given through our constitution are upheld.
Economy, Tax & Public Spending
Ireland’s economy must reward and deliver real value for the people who fund it. Too often, taxpayers are overburdened while public spending fails to deliver meaningful results.Reclaim Ireland will build a stronger economy through lower taxes, smarter spending, and a state that focuses on its core responsibilities.
We will:
- Abolish the carbon tax and USC to immediately increase take-home pay for working families
- Ensure public spending is efficient, accountable, and directly beneficial to the Irish people
- Cut waste, bureaucracy, and unnecessary government costs
- Support small and medium-sized businesses as the backbone of the economy
Food Security & Agriculture
Ireland must protect its ability to feed itself. Our farmers and food producers are essential to our economy, our communities, and our national identity.
Reclaim Ireland will support Irish agriculture, strengthen food security, and ensure that policies work for — not against — those who produce our food.
We will:
- Support farmers by reducing unnecessary regulation and protecting their livelihoods
- Strengthen Ireland’s food security and self-sufficiency
- Promote resilience in the national food supply
- Reduce the tax burden on food producers
- Oppose trade deals that undermine Irish farming by allowing imports produced to lower standards
Life, Family & Society
Strong families are the foundation of a healthy society. When families are supported, communities are stronger, and the country as a whole is more stable and resilient. Reclaim Ireland will promote policies that support family life, strengthen communities, and protect the dignity of every human being.
We will:
- Support families through policies that recognise their central role in society
- Protect the right to life and uphold the dignity of every human being
- Promote responsibility, respect, and strong community values
- Ensure public policy reflects the importance of family, community, and social stability
Natural Resources & National Wealth
Ireland’s natural resources belong to the Irish people. They must be managed in the national interest — not undervalued or controlled for external benefit. Reclaim Ireland will ensure that Ireland’s land, waters, and energy resources are used to strengthen the country, support economic development, and deliver long-term benefits to the people.
We will:
- Secure a fair return from the use of Ireland’s natural resources
- Reform licensing to prioritise national benefit over external profit
- Protect our land, waters, and energy assets
- Reinvest resource revenues into infrastructure, public services, and national development
Irish Identity, Culture & Community
Ireland’s identity is built on its history, culture, language, and shared values. These must be protected, respected, and passed on to future generations. Reclaim Ireland will promote national pride, strengthen community cohesion, and ensure that integration works in a way that respects and reflects Irish society.
We will:
- Promote and protect Irish heritage, language, and traditions
- Ensure integration policies reflect Irish values and social norms
- Encourage national pride, community cohesion, and shared identity
- Support education and initiatives that respect Ireland’s history and culture
